That thread is only a reference that you can change the housing so that way we can accommodate the phone to have an i9100 back housing which is working with the international battery kit ( battery cover ), then just buy the Korean battery kit for the battery and your set.
That's why I'm getting the black ;)

Man just get the international phone sell you att galaxy and get the international s2... I feel like you will save more money that way in the long run rather than doing these experiments. Or get the s3 when it comes out next month.

Good advise, but right now or even next month I can't afford to buy the S3, I will need to wait for the at&t version so I can get it on contract fo $200-300. I'm sure when the S3 comes out it will cost like $500+ unlocked. Also the i9100 is also expensive, I would need to sell my i777 but i'll only get like $350. I can buy the i9100 housing for $12 plus the the 2 battery kits (one for the battery, one for the extended battery cover), total will cost me around $100, not too bad.

More than that...closer to $800 than $500 probably.

After seeing the S3 i'm soo glad I'm investing in my i777 battery upgrade!
Btw, i just thought of this: when i recieve my 2 battery kits, I'm gonna take the battery cover from the international kit and the battery from the Korean kit, then put the left over international battery and Korean cover and return it to the international kit seller (I'll say it didn't fit), damn i am a good schemer! in the end I'll only be out $50
