im saw this thread and just wonder how can no one figure out this application..

test this application CALL RECORDER by SCHASS INNAB go to market and search.

im using this app from my old X10 mini pro
and now in xperia mini mro and its working & recording 2way calls.

im rooted & using stock 2.3.4 version.

You are rooted. ok. But did you unlock your xperia mini pro sk17i's bootloader? Did you install the Rage kernel in order to get that app working?

no i dont unlock bootloader nor i installed any rage kernel im on stock 2.3 version but i dont use this software after 2.3.4 update so u will check by installing this app is it working or not in latest 2.3.4 version

Pretty interesting information. "What" model of xperia mini pro do you have? sk17i or sk17a or other?

I have to report to you guys that on my xperia mini pro SK17i running android 2.3.4 (build 4.0.2.A.0.58) with root permission (but loocked bootloader and stock ROM) i can record both ways of a phone call through the free version of this program: http://sites.google.com/site/autocallrecorder/

Dude can you try with a headphone to listen the other person? I mean: if you speak normally at the mic of the phone and listen the other side by a headphone, you can record without loss quality or volume? Sorry for ask that.

EDIT: a wired headphone; I wanna see if the audio is routed from the line not from the speakers.

No problem dude. Tomorrow morning i will try with the wired headphone that came in with the phone. I will let you know if i can hear both my audio and the other side's audio.

So. I did a try. When i am using a wired headset (like the one that came in with the phone) and i record the call, i can only hear weakly my side of the conversation. No hear of the other side.

As far as the other application just suggested by another user (CALL RECORDER by SCHASS INNAB at https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...recording.call) it doesn't work at all. I guess because it is an old app. It has been last updated on 4 november 2010 before android 2.3 was released.

Well, I took courage to unlock bootloader (by the test point method) and, , with Rage Kernel, 2WCR is working good with both side, clear and nice, even with bluethoot headset, or wired headset or just trought the fone mic, working awesome. I use the kernel with CallRecorder by skvalex.
