Well the developer bailed** on the rom because he sold his View so yeah.

** Poor choice of words on my part here - meant no offense to the Developer. I simply meant to say he has moved onto other things since selling his View although I believe he will still be visiting to answer questions.

And then we see both companies are losing money hand over fist. Is this at all surprising?

Take care of your customers idiots and maybe one day your balance sheet will look something like Samsung's or Apple's.

You know, I think I'll run a test. I'm gonna just set Netflix at "Better Quality" and see how it runs on HC. I'll also see if the quality is tolerable on my HD sets. It will probably look about the same.

I can always just turn it up to best quality if I am going to use my 1080p projector.
very persistent hope you find some kinda solution.

Good news!

Running DeSensed HC with Netflix set to just "Better Quality" off the website and it works a charm. Yay! Gotta go back and thank whoever suggested that.

Browsing is still a little slower than GB and some sites just get hung up for some reason, but I put on AdBlock and set Falsh to "on-demand" on Dolphin and it seems to be acceptable.

Best part is now I can use my pen. yay! I'm happy.

Thanks guys.

Well, I discovered the "better quality" adjustment from a guy in the Thrive forums. I'd thank him if I could find the post again.

Ditto but I wanted HTC and wasn't spending $800 on jetstream without a data plan

I'm still here... Go start a thread outlining how you got Netflix to work on HC so that others can know because this is a known issue.
I'm taking the time to learn some things from my nexus right now.

Phone: Galaxy Note II (CypherROM-N2-Alpha-14)
Tablet: Asus Nexus 7 8GB (CM10)
Watch: Motorola MotoACTV(Stock/Rooted)

Sorry didn't mean it as a criticism. Someone just asked where you went. You had indicated earlier that you had ceased development on the rom because you sold your View. I guess the use of the word "bailed" was indiscreet and could have been said more diplomatically . I apologize, just the way I talk

I'll change the wording of my original post.

** Thanks. I will start a thread in Q & A about this. Good idea. - Ok thread completed. Hope it helps someone.

Lol, don't you love the internet? I knew you weren't hating mitch! I'm hoping to learn more about AOSP so that in the off chance that my brain unlocks it's potential (you know, secrets of the universe and Android) that I'll be able to build something for you guys. I have something in the mix right now for the motoactv, and the RAZR has been nothing but a set back (locked bootloader for starters).

My View has been running Netflix on HC flawlessly since I changed the quality setting. Good find.[COLOR="Silver"]

P.S., Spartan you gave me my 500th thank-you. Is there a prize for that?
