Are they other ac adapter compatible with lapdock?

been searching for an answer for this for a while and I haven't been able to come up with anything

anyone have a firm answer? Will another adapter witht he same power rating work fine?

Anything with the same power rating will work fine. Just make absolutely POSITIVE that the polarity is the same on the plug -- reversing polarity can do some not-so-friendly things to DC circuits.

Apparently, the charger for the Xoom speaker dock may be the same as the Lapdock's charger.

Default Droid Bionic Lapdock Charger
Does anyone know if there is an alternative to the the Droid Bionic Lapdock charger or somewhere I can buy it for around 5 bucks????
