I am facing battery issues. I have to recharge it twice a day. I bought brand new phone under Mobo's warranty 10 days ago.

Also my phone is Made in Vietnam and have Gingerbread. I am unable to locate ICS for it. Anyone knows where I can get ICS (official not modified) for it?

what is your usage with this battery life?
also check if your set is I9100 or I9100g? samsung has just started rolling out ics for i9100g so you might have to wait a bit if yours is G model.

If you don't want to flash an unofficial ROM then don't update. I updated here in the UK but it slowed everything down. Scrolling in websites became sticky, switching between screens slowed down, everything was like i was on a galaxy s1.
Even though i had not wanted to i had to move to cyanogen mod because the official ics was so bad. Trust me bro, don't upgrade, it's not worth it.

its plain i9100 not g. I am trying to locate official ics to keep my warranty. My phone always connected to internet via wifi

I am somewhat disappointed with S3. It's like Iphone 4S release. I really thought that this time Samsung will take the game from Apple's hand altogether. I was specially expecting improvements in camera, even if not the increased mega pixels, the optics had to improve. Also I was expecting improvements in Audio as current S2 is really weak in this area.

There are some cool software tweaks that Samsung have made but I know that S2 will get most of them, thanks to XDA :D.

So right now, there isn't any immediate compelling reason to upgrade. I will wait till next Galaxy Note update to see if I need a new phone :)

you can always unroot and reset the flash counter to claim warranty.

The S3 is the new king of Android but it really hasn't lived up to the hype.But just like the 4S it will sell like hot cakes.
The baddest thing I find about the S3 is the design, the blue one is extremely ugly.This is an interesting article to read about the S3s design:

Also the phones are getting too big now, 4-4.2'' is the ideal screen.

Well Samsung have not highlighted anything particular about hardware. They bregged only about processor, gpu and there software tweaks.
