im in no way a developer but i have an idea, maybe it will work maybe no? it seems as tho our rhodiums lack lots of memory on the nand side. and when we use sdcard method we can change parameters of the data, system, cache in the form of ext2, ext3, or ext4. could it be possible to use our sdcard as a "swap" location for more memory? im certain someone else has thought of this but i couldnt find a solution or answer. acl, walter, arrrghhh or anyone else have an idea to include this idea? maybe out of the nand possibility? ive read somewhere, i think it was in an arrrghhh post that theres not a noticeable difference in speed of sdcard and nand. wouldnt it be awesome if you just pop in a sdcard les say 8gb and format it with 1gb ext partition? and have the advantage near unlimted space. plus all the system side still be on the nand? idk? if im off bases here asking im sorry but heck if it gets someone thinking and its a great idea.
