Please flash the following kernel http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jouhshzh08hfiwf and post a fresh dmesg right after boot (the line of interest is "tl2796 factory data dump").

As a bonus, you will get working Wifi AP.

on update-cm-9-20120506-NIGHTLY-galaxysmtd-signed.zip settings is still crashing when trying to add a new wifi network... for me.

EDIT: ok... problem is with hidden networks only. I just unticked the "hide broadcast" box on my router menu to show my ssid and now i can connect.

When u want to connect to a invisible network/create the network the app crashes.
Don't have time to post a log because I'm not at home but as many others here have the same problem maybe some of these can post a log.

Virgin Uk network provider

I have tried to install a 4.0.4 rom, I installed I9000XXJVU_I9000OXAJVU_OXA and my provider is there and my phone works oks. As soon as i install Cyanogenmod 9 Nightly 4.0.4 It does not have Virgin in the Network selection screen. And i cant use my phone.

Any help is very grateful

With the last two nightliys I'm having troubles witt random reboots. After the reboot, the passwordscreen for unlocking the SIM doesn't come up. Result is no way to contact to the network.

After removing the battery for some time, followed by a reboot, the network comes back. But...within the hour I will have a new rebootm and the same problem comes back.

I flashed back to stock and reïnstalled the 5-5 nightly and restored an old backup. Problem seems solved now, on the old nightly.

Edit: nope. On the older nightly the same problem appears. Anyone knows what this could be?

my problem on nightly 0429 with hidden wifi network is when i enter the password. the netword ends up showing as if it's out of range.

now on the latest nightly the settings app is crashing just like people have been observing.
