Try to update the SU .bin using Superuser App that has been installed.
Nope, I tap that button but nothing happens, stays as "Mount R/W"

Also, I updated the Superuser app from the play store to the newest one:

v3.0.7 (41)

But that didn't do much it looks like....

Maybe the SU install wasn't succeffully, do another time all the steps, using the last SU .bin, instead of the one that came with the file of the first post.
You can google for it or check my previous posts

Thanks for the help! Will i also need to re-install root explorer, rom manager, and rename files etc? I will let you know how it goes? I'm new to this, how can you be sure your phone is actually rooted? Like now I can't tell, I have superuser installed but no activity in it....

You are rooted if you can access system files and modify them.
Another test you can do is install Titanium free from the market, it needs rooted device to work.
Let me know

yah!

Hey so after rooting a different i9020A phone, I discovered that the best way to go to go is exactly this method but replace the clockwork with the latest and same for the SU zip you need to flash.

so your looking for 'Superuser-3.0.7-efghi-signed.zip' and 'recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.0.2-crespo.img'
