Not really. They should work with a couple of HTC Android devices. So when you want try do a nandroid backup or backup the gps.conf in system/etc and flash the zip.

I live in Panama City, Panama and this made the GPS in my I4G lock super fast. Thanks MarcoHD and yes definitely use GPS status to redownload the aGPS data.
