Default Not using a case anymore--got this and a skin

This holds my phone very securely...I didn't believe it until I got it. Will attach securely to any surface and will remove easily when I want to take it off. No joke. It comes in a number of colors.

That thing looks kinda ugly compared to FlyGrip. Look it up.

Thanks but I got this because I thought the Flygrip is rather ugly and bulky, lol!

hahaha you should see MY case

its 2 piece hard shell and then a silicone skin on top of that. doubles the thickness of the phone.

but even with the case its still thinner than my TP2 no case :)

how do I stand it? easy.

I am absolutely positively INCAPABLE of replacing this phone. Period. end of discussion.

Protecting is Priority One. Period :)

Just get one that diesnt add too much bulk

This is similar to the one sprint sells in the stores except the back is clear and it cost $6 shipped instead of $22

http://shop2.sprint.com/NASApp/onlin...oryID=CZS2875R

once its on and you install a screen protector it offers a decent level of cosmetic protection.

I have an otterbox defender.. I love it, the phone feels so secure and the bulk is not unbarable, it actually feels better in my hand and the belt clip is solid.. i'd rather a case and a little extra bulk rather than a cracked screen and scratched up ugly bezel..
Im me whether u like it or not... Oh and i have a NS4G and a ET4G by the way

OtterBox. Most folks I know can't stand the things, and it makes it a total pain in the ass to get to anything under the battery door, but that SOB could most likely take a punch with it on.

Reason for Case? = Protects it, and yields Better trade-in/buy back value.

Since I dropped a phone, like 4-5yrs ago, and had to go through the process of using the insurance and paying $50 bucks for that, I've never been without a case on my phones.

My last two phones were purchased at BestBuy, and I opted to pay for the 'buy back option', where they will buy your phone back at a certain percentage of the full retail price [cost of phone without a contract], if it's less than 2 years old. I just recently got the Epic 4G touch, and sold my Nexus S 4G back to BestBuy, to purchase this one. The day I bought the last phone, i had a case and a zagg shield on it before I left the store. So, since my phone was 11mos old when i got the Epic, they were going to give me %40 of $399, which was the retail price w/o contract when i purchased the phone. However, after pulling the case off to inspect the phone, they didn't find a single scuff/scratch/etc, and instead offered me %50. Normally they only offer %50 if the phone is less than 6mos old. However, thanks to my phone being in 'perfect' condition, I ended up getting $199.50 instead of just $159.60 toward a new phone. This literally paid for my new Epic, minus the taxes and other things that come along with renewing your contract. This alone makes a case worth it.

I change cases every now and then, and currently use the OtterBox Commuter case, and don't think it makes it too bulky, but provides excellent protection. However, it seems your more interested in less-bulk than overall protection level. I also purchased a Brushed Aluminium Barely There case, by CaseMate. It looks really snazzy, and it protected my phone really well after 2 different drops, from about waist level on concrete. No damage at all to phone. Plus, for you, this case and/or the Incipio Feather UltraLight case would add very minimal bulk to the phone overall. Between the two though, the casemate case is better, since it covers the corners.

Full Review of Aluminum Case by xda member ahl395. People mentioned loss of 4g/GPS in this post, but I've not experienced either in Dallas.

I actually play a lot of games on my phone and the case makes it very comfortable. Of course there's the drop protection too
