Are we talking about the Corning glass itself or the lcd screen beneath it? Just asking coz I broke the lcd in my old sgs1 because I intentionally slammed it so many times against solid wood.

Btw, the lcd cracked but the glass cover on top was unscathed.

my mate broke his sgs2 screen from a half meter drop onto a carpet floor... and the phone was in a leather case... but mine, which gets thrashed is like brand new! some of it must just be luck
