Question Didn't work for me?

Followed the instructions to the "T"

ran the first for 1.4a -- root explorer - was granted root permission, then said the script was executed. Then did the same for 2.1.1 -- responded the same. I thought all was ok. except that each time the script ran it was just so fast.. without any other messages or response on the screen ..

rebooted and the old splash screen was still there (1.3) with green android above Kindle Fire.

what am I doing wrong?

You are using root explorer. It doesn't work. Use Root Browser as indicated on the first post.

this worked great. thanks for putting this together. I personally couldn't get RootBrowser to give me a prompt to run the script. I used ScriptManager instead and everything went smoothly.

I had the same issue with Root Browser. But Script Manager worked great for me too.

To the OP, I appreciate the time you took putting this thread together.

Hey guys can someone help me with getting this going. I never got the root screen. While researching this. The tab updated itself to the 6.3.1 . Is there anything to do now. I want to be able to run the google market and some apps. Maybe even watch the videos on amazon prime)? Is this all possible and still be able to go back to stock?
