Don't know if you guys have seen this video...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iVFqB...e_gdata_player (its "batman eats a hot dog" ) my brother talked me into making it a boot animation...so I did and thought I would share just rename to ATT_bootanimation.zip instead of bootanimation (depending on the Rom) and the place in system/customize/resource reboot and enjoy...

Followed your instructions, but seem to only get a black screen instead of my boot animation.. permissions set correctly, tried using your flashable... no go.

Any ideas?

What I had to do is view the zip and find the att bootanimation zip within the files and once you find lt extract it and then go to the file it created and find it within them files and move and rename that zip to where the bootanimation is now.

What do you think? Keep in mind the images in the animation are much more clear than those in the Agif. Paint.net likes to kill images in animated .gifs.. You'll need to rename it to whatever your stock bootanimation is called and put it in the same directory. I assume since you said this was for a rom you're making you're just going to cook it in and you don't need a flashable .zip, correct? Also - the animation itself won't loop, it'll stick at the last image until boot.
