I'm either thinking let my little brother get the Airave line and get the LTEVO switch it to my line he can have my OG Evo while still keeping my upgrade in Feb. Or just save up and buy it outright and cancel the Airave line(free).

I just tried to use my Airave upgrade for the EVO lte and she said,
"Amanda: You are not able to use broadband device upgrades for cell phone upgrades.
You: you sure? I just read online that another user did. that's why Im here
Amanda: Yes, I am sure. you may contact customer care if you'd like. however you can not upgrade a broadband device for a cell phone. they are on different plans and it does not works."

That's weird because they told me I'm elgible for an upgrade on that line. When I bring it back or send it in I can use the line to get a phone.

but then you'd be paying for two lines right? I'm not sure about you but I have the airave free. so even if they would let me upgrade to the evo lte on the airave line I would then have to pay for two lines. I also called and spoke to a supervisor in account services about this and she confirmed an airave line cannot be upgraded to a cell phone.

I think it has to do with how much longer you have left on your contract but I also finally got offered a $115 buy out. I wonder if I can do the buy out and then buy it from amazon since that seems like the best deal going right now, right?
