What's the difference between xhdpi and hdpi? I'm assuming hdpi is for ns4g woke the other is for larger resolution screens.

Short terms

xHDPI is for device has 540x960 or (other bigger than 400x854).... Those pngs or xmls are for the xHDPI devices... Like Galaxy Nexus, Galaxy Note and also, the One X...

HDPI is basically what we are using... But, sometimes, xHDPI pngs or resolution might work on a HDPI device....
