It's impossible for now connect the phone via usb, is a bug mentioned in rom feature.... but in recovery mode is possible, try it!!!!

USB Is mention in first post, it is almost impossible without kernel 3.x / driver (ops... %s/\// / ) or using External market app ^^

in my little test i can say:

• Missing good kernel, with stock kernel samsung it's stupid, please dhiru rebuild this kernel who are using from UC sources with right ramdisk.
• RIL Lib ( imho ) drains too fast battery.
• Video imho is not a problem

I wanted to use the face unlock feature but.. Face unlock hangs on "Starting Up", may be I need to be more patient to get it worked.. :P I dunno whats the matter

the front camera isn't working well..when you try TO take a picture with that, camera Will crashed..

so we can just wait for the fix..and then we can use face to unlock..

i'm on XXKPU . except flashing with Universal CF root for rooting purpose no other mods are applied.
1. if i want to try can i flash CM9 directly or should i go through xxkpq > kpu >cwm > CM9 alpha3 > CM9 alpha 4 again ?

2. if need to downgrade again to xxkpu can i just flash again using normal procedure (since cm9 converts filesystem to ext4 will it create any problem ) ?[COLOR="Silver"]

kpq or kpu doesn't matter.you must only have a working CWM app.read the OP for how to flash CM9

CM9 converts filesystem to ext4 because of which your internal SD card will be formatted while flashing.so make a backup of your files on your PC before flashing.

and there are a lot how to flash questions.please read OP and the thread carefully before posting any questions.

flashing CM9 doesn't require any specific official update(like kpu or anything else).It requires rooted phone along with a CWM app.you can flash CM9 from any official GINGERBREAD update(like kpu,kpq,kp3 etc...) AS LONG AS IT IS ROOTED AND HAS A WORKING CWM APP
