Well, after installing kernel V12, I still have the strange sounds with wifi/data on. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Default Some trouble after installing SenseDroid

Hi All,
I just installed SenseDroid ROM on my old X1 to test Android before deciding to buy an "Androphone". It seems very nice, but I experience some majors troubles:
1) The X1 is unable to connect with WIFI to my local network (WPA2-TSK). I don't know what happens, since my network is seen by the phone: when I try to connect, it displays flashing "connecting" but never goes to "connected" state, and then it disconnects and retry to connect... I tried to set it in "open" mode (security disabled) because it could have been a key error, but it is always the same.
I am in the dark because I don't have any error message and no log to try to understand what happens. How can I debug that ?
2) My hardware keyboard is an AZERTY one but it is set to QWERTY. How can I set it ?
3) My battery drains very, very fast (several hours). I have to keep the phone plugged on an USB or charger, to work with the phone. Is it any parameter or option to fix that ?
4) When I connect to my computer (notebook) a device called XDA is found and Windows XP asked for the driver, but what is it ?
Thank you very much for helping me.
BR.

Before you boot in android make sure you got the wifi on, otherwise wifi wont start.

For battery life you should calibrate with battery calibration and perhaps use battery saver.

As for computer link, i used htc dream driver for my X1 when using sensedroid, you might try that one.

Hi All,
Thanks go_insane1981. I solved my WiFi trouble as it was very easy but without any message or log it is more difficult. In fact, I didn't think that the Mac Address was not the same as Windows, so my router being protected from unknown devices, it refused the connection.
For the battery problem I try to calibrate, but up to now unable to go to load at 100%, so impossible to calibrate.
It stays the XDA device which is mysterious for me...

Hi,
I fixed all my problems except the battery consumption. Unfortunately the battery is fully drained in about 2 hours. I tried to slow the CPU speed, to play with brightness: it is very strange but the command buttons stay always lighted even when the phone goes to sleep. I tried to kill all the running tasks etc. So I don't find any fix or bypass for that and it is absolutely unusable. Can someone have an idea ?

2. battery drained going crazy. i found by phone is standby (screen off). but when i bring my phone in to dark place, the screen not totally off.
