they say that android 2.3.5 heave "Improved battery efficiency", is that true?

I think it's more related to sleep mode and background apps.

i googled about a patch to improve visual quality using higer DPI configuration, and found nothing.

this even exist? things start to look strange using 180 DPI or above (dialler / gallery, etc).

I think best way would be to retheme Dialer and Gallery for higher DPI. Stock is 160, so it's this way now.

I'll try my SIM in my wife's HTC tonight and flip between 3G/WiFi to test and hers in my Streak. We're both AT&T so should be a good test.

I'm doing all my tests from home now as it's simpler than trying to work out what gateway addresses are for WiFi, what might and might not be blocked, etc.

just sugest..

i think will be more clean & clear if you do some wipes (cache & dalvik, +batt.stat if nec) before & after flashing & do fix permission at last before booting streak 1 time. no need to factory reset, so your data will stay

Running DSC 1.1 test 2 with Pdroid patch 1.32. Although pdroid app detects the patch, if you turn on "Notify on data access" in the preferences if fails to deliver any notifications. An example of a working notification can be found here blocking the device ID. http://www.privilege-car.de/xda/3.png

Now I tried to run DSC 1.1 test 2 with a Pdroid patch 1.27 that I made, and data access notifications work fine now, but I get random reboots. Catlog shows many debug info stream errors.

I know and already wrote svyat about this issues. NAK error is quite common for Streak and I implemented a lot of workarounds, it's not related to PDroid. I guess we have to wait for PDroid updates. Anyway, it work fine even without notifications.

Hm. But default route on previous output was actually fine. Ok, i'll reanalyze staff when I have some more time.
