wizarcl: what happens on a stock Samsung Kernel? Are you sure the circuitry that controls charging on a low-end phone like the Ace doesn't perform trickle charging on the cheap using this method?

Is such oscillations why we get bad battery life ?

This was sent from a Galaxy Ace. Problem?

If you read the valie to fast and you are a heavy user..you would see it go down fast..if you read it too slow will happen the same...you'll need a big range to avoid this...but the values are integers so only full values... In original ketnel only 800 values

Edit:

Maybe if we round to max instead of truncating...im gonna try it

After some days of testing i can say, that kernel runs fine, but after some days i get old problems again: looking at market, loading some updates and get error 492(?). After restore all fine again...upgrades load as they should...
Dont know its problem of this kernel, but with blackhawk never had this.
And with blackhawk and adrenaline 3.1 feels smoother, less laggy than before. I run antutu benchmark and it has +200 score at same clock (806).

No such problems here, this kernel is very stable and performance for me is better over several days than blackhawk -- are you under/overclocking it, and what governor/scheduler? If you have problems after a few days it sound like some memory releasing problems, have you tried flushing memory?

Not much oc (806), deleted all scripts, smartassV2 governor, btw, never seen this behavior with cm kernel.

I have tested this great kernel for 2 days and everything was fine, except that the compass is not working most of the time...
Sometimes it does, but most of the time not.

So i revertes back to another kernel.
But great job, thanks!

I've using this kernel for a few days is the deodexed version of vo-1's CM7 and all I can say is that it's awesome! Not even one problem!

Battery is working very well, and systems is fast and no laggy! My settings are 122-617 mhz with smartassV2!

Thanks skynet28!

Default Oscilations in Charging

Hi skynet,
dear friend... see this pic. It show the oscilations in charging battery using the Ace Kernel beta 4...
Is there anything that can be done?
These oscillations cause the battery drops easily in the first levels.
I don't know programing, but i am electronic technical and know some things.
