Apologise not to read the complete 187 pages of text, but seems to have a problem with booting this rom.
I have a cm7r2 and 1gb ext4 (16gb class10 Adata card).
I came from Cyanogen 7.2 RC, where I did not need the ext on sd, but decided to leave it as it was (previously AIO rom).
Wiped everything (data/system/ext/cache...) and since 10 minutes it got stuck on the "HTC" initial screen.
Is there anything else I need to consider fixing for this rom?

Faced the same problem...
Just pull the battery nd restart phone...
This happens only on first boot...

Unlike Cyanogen and other AOSP ROMS most Sense ROMS take about 15-20 mins to first boot, more if it's a heavily modded ROM. So no need for a battery pull as yet. Just let it have a 20mins if nothing by that time then you can try a battery pull.

Leave it longer than 10 mins my friend, at least 30 mins

Thanks all for help, but still I did not have gone through the HTC white screen.
Have been waiting for 45 minutes and drained my battery without success.
Seems like this rom is not for my poor Desire.

It take less time when ext partation is perfect alighned .
So i recommend to use gparted , and do not use recovery partationing .
