I wrote a simple perl script to extract all tars from a 1-click, I'll post it later tonight. It also dumps the dd cmds if you wanna do it that way.

Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA

Hello there, Just realized there have been issues with stock UCLD3 kernel. I've been running that leak on my phone without problems but from what I see other people have got serious bricks.

Am I in risk just by using the stock UCLD3 leak? Or the risk will really be if I do a wipe with that kernel on...

thanks!

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's only if you do a wipe/restore with that kernel on. I probably would stay away from making a nandroid with it too. Just flash a new kernel over it without wiping anything, then do your nandroid and go from there.

Has anyone seen this download screen on their i777 before? I have had it since flashing ucld4 one click and then flashing back to earlier stock rooted rom via Odin. Strictly text and progress bar w/o any other animations.

I've used UCLD3 leak since it was released without any problems, but it seems some people are having problems hardbricking. Just to be safe I flashed Siyah's kernel over the the stock UCLD3 kernel before flashing/wiping/backup/restore/or anything else. (I wanted to try out AOKP).

I then did full wipe data/reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik, flash rom.

The UCLD4 one-click downloader includes the modified bootloader, but the return to stock with root does not. So you still have the custom secondary bootloader installed, it looks like.

Edit: Wait, what is this "¢ w/ SGH-I717" ?

That would appear to be the result of your new bootloader, installed when you used the 1click.exe .

Time to do some more homework. Is this lack of animation the result of an error with the new bootloader, or by design? Didn't run into this with ucld3 one-click, or any other time before. Original device since October having flashed dozens of ROMs
