I did THREE of them already! I can do the sim unlock and I know I have done the SDA one. Any help gratefully accepted!

of course not the same !! xda application unlock only a tool used to enable applications to run while the CID unlock overall...

perhaps such a classification

Look at the explanation of the various unlocks I have summarized in another device forum here at XDA. The problems are the same for all windows mobile HTC devices, some can be transferred to other devices as well. Continue the discussion of your problem here in this forum, however please.
Android: Xperia Ray 4.0.4 (rooted, CTCaer v2.7 kernel) + Galaxy Tab 2 7" (GT-P3110 8GB, JB 4.1.2 rooted - KK blackhawk kernel)
WM Std.: Tornado (cooked) < KS20 < Vox < BenQ E72 < Tornado < Hurricane < Amadeus
Beginners Guide to Windows Mobile (prepare for cooking with links to OS-Builder kitchen (WM6.5 German/English & SDHC) for Tornado, Hurricane and Amadeus and some battery related items.
