[Q] Use RazrMaxx without sim?

Hi. Is there any way to use a RazrMaxx, without a SimCard inside?

as far as i know it is not possible. You can use it as an ipod touch but service wise everything goes trough the sim. One more option is to flash it to cricket and use it with out a sim card.

You can flash in qpst nv only write your prl and use without sim
You also have to put in your mdn and min

... so, apparently my previous post didn't appear. i said i can't use it as an 'ipod touch' or do anything with it, because after i power up the 'toy', the 'touch android to continue' appears, i touch the android, and it says it can't do anything without a sim card.

*it is a verizon razr maxx, and i don't have a sim or anything else from verizon

I got one from local verizon store went in and asked for one
you can also get them on ebay you need micro sim
after you program it to nv only you no longer need sim

On most phones you can touch all four corners of the activation screen to bypass it. Start in the upper left and go clockwise.

I'm not sure which one is the activation screen which i have to bypass if you could explain me better.

My Razr Maxx came in today. Unfortunately, it didn't come with a sim card, so I couldn't activate it. It's running ICS, and I tried the four corner trick, but it didn't work. I randomly tried sticking my T-Mobile micro sim in it, and that did the trick!

I have a Droid Razr Maxx
I wrote the prl but I cant dial *228 or *22890 to activate,
How do you manual activate your phone? It gives me error messages like Failed to call NAM information on ##PROGRAM
And it shows "write failed"when I try to manually activate my phone with QPST
How to use your phone without a sim card?
How to make it "nv only" on QPST?
