if the one v already got the 3 dots bar fix from Htc (( long press multitask button for menu )) , so i think it's safe to say that the one x is getting the offical fix too , isn't it .

actually I don't get it.... I sold my old HD2 to a colleague and he stops by from time to time to ask some things, the difference is huge between the two devices now that I am used to my HOX! (smaller and heavier HD2)

Oh...waw, Tegra's GPU is pretty powerful

So an update to my experience with rooted 1.29 ARHD, i changed the CPU governor to interactive using SetCPU and played RipTide GP

the difference is day and night!

The game runs @60fps! all the performance instability is gone and its runs mostly @ 60fps except when your using boost and there is motion blur and water splash on the screen the frame rate drops a little

considering how much effects and shaders are running in Riptide on Tegra3, i have to say i'm pretty floored by the performance, benchmarks are meaningless

The stock OnDemand governor is definitely conservative, by the way my battery temps reached 48degree by the fourth level guess because on interactive T3 is locking @ its top speed more often

But i can honestly say, being a hardcore gamer, this is the first time since my first Diamond and iPhone that i enjoyed gaming on a smartphone

Ok so been trying with the Rooted 1.29 and the available governors in the stock kernel

OnDemand:
- 4 core running at 1400Mhz max
- if single core runs it jumps to 1500Mhz max

Interactive:
- 3 cores running at 1400Mhz
- if single core runs it jumps to 1500Mhz max

Performance:
- 3 core locked at 1200Mhz

you can't set or change the clock in SetCpu it simply controls the single core mode

Tegra 3 in default OnDemand governor is dynamically jumping between cores and clock speeds all the time even under heavy load, its very stange how it works

update: i just tried Franco's kernel, during screen On, ondemand governor, it ramps up to 1400mhz multicore mode even when just holding on the launcher main page, the phone remained hot at 45degree, suddenly it makes sense

the 1.29 stock kernel is optimized for safe thermal operation, if you choose performance governor it holds @ 1200mhz 3 cores mode

New skins were added in the personalize menu just go the skin and click get more
