can I randomly interject that I'm getting incredibly annoyed with case manufacturers listing things as "clear" instead of "transparent"? definitely not the same thing, you guys! :\

i found a 100% clear hard plastic case on ebay, we'll see how that one goes. but i also don't have my One yet.

If you use the task manager, don't use the "stop all" function. I found it kills the htc location service and causes this. That's a service that I think should be able to be locked into memory.
