No supposedly but it seems like we have different mechanism here. I took a look at HTC Desire S config file and highmem was enabled so I thought I'd try.

Hey adrien can you check if the LED notifications while charging the phone are working when the display is OFF, cause my notifications seem to only work when my screen is ON thanks

It works when you flash another kernel ?

why the frequencies scale differently on this kernel? can that hurt the device in some way? not the oc itself but the diference between freq scales.

That's DooMLoRD freq table and I don't really see why it would hurt the device but maybe you can explain me with more details...
