This is insane...no update in Toronto for me...unorganized Acer!!!!

I had a stock a500 and got tired of waiting for the update so I got the zip file from here and flashed it and its working perfectly fine. I'm from Toronto.

Why are you guys waiting for it ?

Update finnally showed up!!! so nice...so smooth love it.

Mine showed up yesterday morning in Ottawa.
Everything is smooth.

all is good..but my camara will not focus right...takes blurry pics...even did a master reset and still the same it used to take good pics now it won't focus..what the helly....

Updated to Acer_AV041_A500_1.031.00_WW_GEN1 a few days back and now notice that Acer Sync no longer works with my A500.
Called Acer support but no help there, I was told I'll just have to wait for the next update and hope that it solves the problem.
Now I'm stuck having to sync files manually between my A500 and PC.

Can anyone suggest another app that'll sync files such as Excel, Word, PDF, etc.?

This is a litte late to post now, but, I got mine back on the 14th, ready first thing in the morning. Updated, tab said update done, (went real fast) checked version (cause everything still looked the same to me) still 3.2.1 HC. Re-booted, still 3.2.1. Updated again, second update was way bigger size, rebooted, ICS now. Lots of ppl complaining about slower wifi, mine got better ( a lot better) I had to uninstall & re-install several apps to get them to work right. Can't seem to figure out how to make the default browser bookmarks to show up as text links instead of icons (or tiles or whatever you want to call them) All in all, the only improvement I noticed was better wifi (which I am quite happy with) but a lot of other things became less functional.
