If they give you free radio then why would you use the included Tunein Radio app that uses data? If you use less data then how does AT&T make more money?

Mount RW and paste the apk. Long press on the app and select Permissions. Change them to look like the below. Click Ok and then reboot.

I believe Polaris Office is hidden by the Sense launcher so this will not work. I could be wrong though. It does show up in the app drawer of other launchers though.

I'm not sure about Voice Recorder.

Thanks
I want to know the answer to this question too. I do not want/don't feel like rooting my phone just to get this functionality.

Yes, you need root to install the FM Radio apk. It needs to be installed in the system folder, which is only accessible after root.

Weird that AT&T omitted Flashlight, and hid the shortcuts for Polaris and Stocks. These have nothing to do with their services like the FM Radio does (encouraging people to use Stocks would actually increase data usage). I wonder if they were just trying to minimize the number of apps in the drawer, to make room for their crappy bloatware? Or just a mistake altogether?

DONATE TO ME
To get Polaris, Tunein, and other "hidden" applications onto your home screen you can use ES File Explorer to do so.

Open up ES File Explorer and press the tab that says "Appmgr" then "Category" in the "Category" section it will give you a pop up for System Apps.

Within System Apps scroll through until you find what you wish to add and long press it. It will give you an option for "Shortcut" that you can select. After selecting "Shortcut" it will put a shortcut onto your home screen.
