Default AppWidgetPicker - Group the Widgets

300th Blog Post

Hi

Here comes an interesting small apk AppWidgetPicker.

This Apk will group the more than 2 different widgets of same apk in one group in the popup menu when you long press the home-screen.
It makes the scrolling easy

Tested & working fine on Infuse running Aeon 1.3.1 (UCLB3)

(ICS version can also be obtained from the OP-see bottom link )

Screen shot- You can see this mod has grouped all the widgets of apps Any.do, BW, ColorNote & Evernote

Instructions:

* Download the APK file
* Place it to /system/app (through root explorer)
* Set the file permissions rw-r-r
* Sometime have to reboot.

This mod will group more than 2 different widgets of same apk in one group in the menu when you long press the home-screen and choose widget.
As u can see in screenshot this mod has grouped all the widgets of apps Any.do, BW, ColorNote & Evernote.
You have to scroll less while choosing the widget.
Dont have seen this feature in tested roms by me.

I installed it on pure stock and when I clicked on widget it asked me which widget picker to use.

What I'm saying is you don't need to put in system/app or reboot
