Civato, very nice, like the ROM

Has any one been able to get proxy settings configured. Even on official ROMS, getting your tablet to connect to office wifi is mission impossible. Ipad's, you enter the proxy settings, and it sees the network, DNS etc. no problem. Android just doesn't have a clue what DNS.

I have tried Autoproxy lite, still no luck, can't connect. ProxyDroid seems not be be working 100% on ICS. I hear Cyanogenmod has proxy settings in the settings menu. Don't know if that ROM resolves DNS names.

hey civato is there anyway i can make the lockscreen click sound a little louder? i do like to have that little confirmation sound when i cant see if im locking or not (without taking out of case)

But i need this : FLEXREAPER-RF1_rv1-CUSTOM-ICS

I have it from android-hilfe.de and there i have not seen the Custom-ICS.

Stuck on "Obtaining IP address..."

Running RF1. Everything is great. However, it takes forever to get a DHCP ip address. Around 5 minutes. The router is a belkin n300 running tomato toastman. No other device (including other android/blackberry/apple) has this problem.

anyone else seen this? any solutions?

I run a shibby build of Tomatousb on an Asus RT-N16, and RF1 on my A500. I get an IP Address in a second or two. I also use static DHCP, don't know if that would help you or not.

Proxy settings and DNS are to totally separate things. What exactly are you trying to do to connect to work?

Does it give you any error messages? Please provide as much detail as possible and someone will likely be able to help you out.

If your using a belkin router, android has already released statements saying that these router have a hard time with re-authentication of wpa/wpa2/psk. Basically the way belkin sets up the router causes wifi drop and keeps some from acquiring a connection. This will affect almost every android device the same way. If this is not what's causing your issues try using something like fix my wifi,, or another wifi app. Also clearing out all the info in wifi,then rebooting and resigning back to your connection sometimes fixes issues.
