Default REQUEST

I have check through this thread and also searched.

I am shocked as I couldn't find any stock HTC sense 3.0 clock/weather widgets with transparent backgrounds.

If I have missed it, can someone please post a link?

If it does not exist, i will be willing to make a nice donation to someone who can give me one. I want the original clock and weather, just no background. No clock and no weather background in apk please.

Thank you in advance.

Sorry I don't have links for it, but here are a few suggestions.

Assuming you are on a sense ROM running the Sense launcher, you could try modding the widget yourself. I believe HTCdev/XDA has some guides for modding and building widgets and such for the sense framework (unsure).
Maybe try alternatives like Fancy Widgets on the market and put on a transparent theme and linking shortcuts to specific HTC apps like HTC weather or something.
Or perhaps download one of the themed ROMs and extract the .apks for the specific files you need. Not sure if this would work though.

Good luck

Thanks for your reply.

Yep, I think I will have to lern to do it myself.

I am new to Android, came from Windows mobile and was able to mod everything myself in Windows. Have to start from scratch with Android.

All part of the fun I guess. Will do some reading.

Mine for next time, until a stable and usable Sense 4 ROM for my good old HD2 is out. For now, AOKP B36 (ICS 4.0.4) is awesome enough .

I know it's old school, but so am I.
Pluss the colours work well.
CM7 with ice theme minimalistic text widget, simple text icons on ADW ex and a great wallpaper that inspired the colours.

i like the wallpaper (will copy later) but,
suggestion, i would crop the wallpaper to screen size 480x800 and set the wallpaper to not scroll (in adw menus). then you can see the lovely lady in full on any screen...
