You can remove the features "set battery to 100% on charger disconnected"? Because sometimes the battery is not full charges but APK still set 100%.

Well... I tried zergrush's root and battery patch method for locked bootloaders on fw .42 but it doesn't work with ics. So, there is no way at the moment to patch ics without unlocking the bootloader.

I Have a question,
little time behind mine arc showed 0% one day after I flashed firmware .42, later making root, and upgrade OTA for .62
And when this problem happen i couldn't charge the battery through the phone, because it showed a red light beside the charger sock and the screen showed like it was charging, but 1 hour later, i tried to turn on the phone and it started normally until the lock screen apears and the battery icon show up empty and rounded with a red line and showing 0%. So I took off the battery and put it to charge in a external charger.
Put back in the phone and now it is charging since my phone is turned on, but when it turns off due the low charge of the battery, i need to take off the battery and charge with the external charger again.
May this problem be the same fuel gauge problem?
I'm asking, because i'm having 0% everytime my phone turns off due to low charge.

Yes it is. Anything you try to do(except patching the battery driver), the battery still shows 0%, so the only way to "fix" it(it's not really a fix, just an emulation) is to patch your battery driver either by unlocking your bootloader and flash a patched kernel or by following Z's patching method for locked bootloaders .42 based on zergrush rooting exploit.

Hello everybody,

Recently I've got some battery troubles wit my Sony Xperia Arc. I've loaded the 62 firmware and the boot.img so that it works now. Anyway, there is still an issue with my battery, it seems that it does not charge properly. Apart from that, it shows 85% all the time and it looks like it can't charge over, roughly saying, 30/40% and therefore it turns off faster, as the result of the lower battery level.

I've downloaded FuelGaugeFixV16, but i don't know how to install it.

Can anybody plz give me some advice on how to manage with this problem?

Thanks in advance,

Mor

Try this, in cwm recovery:
http://db.tt/p4M5rj2b.
Include battery module and fuelgauge apk.
