300€ is a low price for a phone like this

Thank you! Yes the Arc S is a good buy.

I had the Nexus S. Loved the phone. But I have the Galaxy Nexus now so I got rid of my Nexus S. And you're probably wondering why didn't I keep the Nexus S as my backup Android. Because the UI is the same as my GNex and I wanted something different. Also, the Arc has better camera, playing videos and music sounds much better, weighs less and way better design.

If I get the Arc S, I have to get used to using the 3 physical keys again.

Wow, nice looking phone and specs! I hope they make a North American version. Having said that, I just placed an order for the Arc S.
I can't wait that long for a new phone. Plus, I need a secondary Android now.

I agree about the camera. I switched from IPhone 3GS. It was quite remarkable. But I am not too happy
with how the rom. I have rooted the rom and done some tweaks. Even installed aniking rom. But the overall ui still doesn't feel as polished.

Waiting for ICS

Default battery drain

There's one downside about the ICS update though. The battery drains kinda fast, even when phone is idle. So unless you underclock it or undervolt it, you won't get past a day without having to recharge.
Just noticed your message, im wondering if anyone has suggested to you that you flash a different baseband. Every tft seems to have this issue but if you flash baseband the battery life change is phenominal

for me I'll never buy a device from sony
always the devices is outdated
if sony but a dual core in the arc, better ram , I don't need to change my phone
sony want us to change our phone every year
before I buy my arc , I was confused which phone to buy , arc or galaxy s 2
I choose arc just cuz its sexiest design and i know it was outdated
but now after a year of using arc , i knew i was wrong
the arc now is very weak compared to sgsii .. and if i choose sgsii i'll not face ram and lag issues
I will not buy from sony again
it give us poor specifications compared to other devices
see huawei, htc , lg , samsung ...etc
all of them reach to quad core and sony says no quad core this year ..
yeah , maybe this year we don't need a quad core but next year it will show its effects
like what happend now with arc
I love sony but sony doesn't give us what we need

im sorry which company doesn't release a new much more improved phone every year?
this is the cell phone market not just sony. I chose this over gs2 and i am still extremely happy with this phone there is NO reason for me to "upgrade" to something even a gs3
