Hello all,

At last I can post in development...

I currently have KA05.1. Not using BT, so not upgrading to KA05.2 for now.
Only face 1 error - Google Play, but remote install is even more fun

Have two things on the wishlist concerning battery life. It's good as is, but may be it could be improved.

1. Disconnect the phone if the coverage / signal is less then X and try to search for provider in Y seconds.
My office has a very bad coverage, so the phone is constantly searching for network, and you know that the worse the signal is, the more battery is drained.
2. Lower the frequency of data sync.
It looks like it is almost LIVE. I open my gmail in a browser and when I receive a mail, it gets delivered to my phone faster then to my browser. So I guess it sends the synchronization requests like every millisecond... May be it would be wiser to let it send the data every 30 seconds or every minute...

QUESTION: if I enable Background Data, and disconnect WiFi, are there any processes still running related to Background Data? Does it still affect the battery? Do I have to switch the Background Data off every time I switch off my WiFi?

Finally working. From KA04 I had to flash back to KA02 then flash DoomKernel (#9009). Let that boot up then reboot to recovery and flash KA5.2

After that it was fine. Play Store works for me, just tried it with Sims 3 which started to download fine (though I stopped it cos I don't actually want that game, lol)

One problem that persists from KA03 is that the flashlight button on the status bar buttons randomly disappears. The space for it is there but it doesn't work. I have to open quick settings and toggle it off and on to get it back.
Please vote for me to go INTO SPACE! https://www.lynxapollo.com/en_GB/159...m-lake?image=0 - You can use a fake email if you want

My brightness is forced at maximum when I select auto brightness. So it's not working for me. Any tips?

DONATE TO ME
Auto brightness is the whole time activated. It's only out if you set the brightness high.

The button is only there because it's a ported mod

The ROM seems to work for me, I'm not facing any crashes with google play or anything else.. everything seems to be fine

There's just a cupple of things:
1) I can't understand how to activate the auto brightness.. There is no button or option for starting it.. does it supposed to work without it? The brightness is changing if I click on the status bar toggle, but it never changes alone..

2) Is there a way for me to add a 2g/3g (GSM only/WCDMA only) toggle to the status bar? I find it very convenient.

Thanks in advance

1) It's activated in default, no ways to disable it, so just set your brightness for lowest you want, the rest of the time it will regulate to higher brightness when needed.

Well, nothing.
I set it to the lowest and rebooted and the brightness is stuck on the lowest, causing me to see nothing. :/

Same here. Not so automatic imo.

Is the nasty thing called full wipe needed maybe?
