DONATE TO ME
This app is useless IMO. Like most anti theft apps, when trying to locate the phone, of google's location service isn't enabled it'll ask you to enable it, so,

Lost: can't enable it.
Stolen: Won't enable it.

So you're screwed. The only anti theft I've found that doesn't ask you to enable it is AVAST! Anti Theft.

The app doesn't drain battery. I remember someone said that in another thread and realised he tried to track his phone with the app and didn't turn tracking off in the web console. As for the google thing, just enable it and have peace of mind. Lastly, it's highly unlikely the yob who's trying to steal your phone has any idea about Clockwork Mod. They'll more than likely take out the sim card for a few hours lol

Usually ppl hard reset before using such high end phone. Thus any anti theft software should be rooted, invisible atleast to have any chances of recovery. How many anti theft software has anyone come across which can do this???

Install it as a system app. Only a rom wipe will remove it. So again I say "it's highly unlikely the yob who's trying to steal your phone has any idea about Clockwork Mod. They'll more than likely take out the sim card for a few hours lol"

it doesnt ask to enable location services on phone if its not active the phone will be tracked a bit slowly...we can turn on gps wifi mobile data via sms...which other app can do it...and note this in avast if the user switches off data you r done for good but we can enable it...and if we install this as a system app ie flash it via cwm it wont be deleted unless the rom is changed...this should sum it up...i have monitred it via droid wall of cm it doesnt use data even if it is on on our device it only uses data after sending the track device message....any questions..not everyone knows that a phone can be booted in 4 ways ..the ythink it can be booted only by pressing power button if they do a data wip after booting the app wont be deleted as it is a system app.............any more questions?

So, how does one install using Cwm. My phone is rooted, and has superuser installed. Further guidance or link to a thread would help.

The FAQ page on Cerberus web page has all the details. A flashable CWM file. Or just download the .apk from their site and place it in system/app with root explorer or es file manager
