It wasn't on purpose. I've had a Vibrant as my personal phone for 2 years and pressing the power button to show the lock screen is ingrained. That's going to be a tough habit to break.

After rebooting I can confirm that 5.2.2 behaves the same. With blink disabled the notifications remain even after the screen wakes itself. With blink on existing notifications are cleared.

I think what I suspected is true in your case. Some app is definitely terminating NoLED when the screen turns off or when it goes temporarily in the background.

Go to Miscellaneous > and check the first option at the top. See if it helps at all.

Otherwise, I can't really think of any better workaround

I'll keep digging around and see what Traveller actually does. There's really nothing else installed on the phone at this point.

I tried that option last night and didn't see anything different.

Thanks for your help anyway.

OMG that new touch the icon to launch the app feature is awesome! Working nicely on my Skyrocket. Very nice addition.

My only item relates to text messages (here we go. lol). I use Go SMS for my text messages. The icon that comes up for text messages is the contact's picture. If I press on the icon, I am taken to my phones stock sms app. If I enable GoSMS and disable the text message icon I get a generic Go SMS icon (and not the contact picture). Ideally I'd get the picture contact and it would take me to my GoSMS app.

I'm prepared to live with this though if you don't see anyway around it.

hey thanks for the feedback.

I can definitely customize what app launches when you click on a contact. I'd actually love to implement that.

I just think the current NoLED menu is over complicated. I need to redesign the layout so that I can implement a UI for these finer settings.

Otherwise, everything else seems to be working fine? is the app launching responsive enough?

I just found a bug yesterday myself: the dismiss charging indicator at 100% isn't working gotta rework these features back in.

There is like a two second hesitation before the app launches doesn't bother me.

Did you disable the dismiss with Home button in the misc submenu? try to enable that again and see if it works.
