Are you trying to do that via mounts & storage "mount /sdcard" ?
And you want to make the sdcard available for your OS?
Then use "toggle usb storage" its on the main menu

I installed on the 1.50 S-On but when it settles the phone restarts again. I did the super wipe but no difference. I tried installing other roms with the recommended recovery and the same issue. I am now restoring will see if that cures the issue. I will attemp it again once I have a full settled system. I will report back.

Thanks for the heads up MPGRimm I did not realized that I had done the long Quote. As I mentioned I was going to report back. I restored the back up and the phone seems stable with the stock Rom. I follow the same procedure for my wifes evo both same white color both with the same hboot and everything else and hers seems to have work perfectly. Mines is a negative. What can I do?

Every time I boot from recovery, I get a message that says that an update has been detected and is being installed. Then on every regular boot, it reaches the white htc boot screen, and reboots again from there. So it basically boots twice every time my phone turns off if that makes sense. Any one have any idea on how to fix this?

No, its not a recovery issue. It has to do with the stock ICS kernel & s-on. It works for some & not others. Look for chad.Goodman's HTC-Leak rls1 Ics kernel over at infectedrom.com (you need an account to get it).

I'm having an issue with the recovery app and was wondering if anyone else has experienced it. When I open the app and click accept it comes up to the different options to choose. Anything I click causes the app to freeze up.

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app three times and cleared data/cache as well. I'm on newts 4.0 Rom.

Anyone have an idea why its doing that? Is it because it is an ics Rom?

Works fine on MeanROM ICS but that's a Sense 3.6 ROM. Not sure why the Sense version would affect this app though.

Might be related to its super user request. If newt's ROM uses SuperSU, try installing SuperUser as that might fix the problem. You can always go back to SuperSU by starting it up and reinstalling the binary. If you already have SuperUser installed, try clearing its data in case 4EXT was accidentally denied SU privileges.
