Didn't have that problem. Does everyone you know have an iPhone? I saw that as a common bug.

I also ditched stock messaging pretty fast. Many free lightweight better options. Chomp, pansi, **** even droidsms lol.

Sent from my bigass phone or whatever on ICS

Ahh, I know many people reported problems receiving mms from iPhone users.

Not trying to flame you or anything but chompsms works great. I prefer SMS apps that are customizable so I can match themes etc. so maybe give it a try. Just disable notifications in the stock messing app so you don't get double notifications.

Many prefer GOsms but I think it's overkill. The ones I mentioned are a bit lighter on resources.

Good luck!

The problem from iPhones stems from imessage. If the iPhone has ever texted your number while you had an iPhone on ios 5 then it sends imessage. Now that you are on android, the iPhone still thinks its an iPhone and will send imessage then switch it to SMS/mms. This is what caused me problems. Everyone in my family (excluding my father. He has android) and half of my friends have iPhones. I had ios 5 from when it came out to march 19th. Everyone I found important enough to inform had to turn off imessage for it to work. There may be other problems, this is just one example of what happened to me. Every message would show a square.
