Doesn't seem to care about " vs ' either.....the problem I was having was with the updater-script. The zip from here works: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...postcount=1220
90mb for zram was too big for me. 90mb was working fine when I had a "fresh" ROM with very few apps (lots and lots of free memory) but once I populated the ROM with apps the phone started to lag a little bit. In order to get the zram populated, you also need to reset the AOKP LMK to 25 mb (System Settings->ROM Control->Performance->Free Memory).
The frame rate behaves strangely on AOKP....sometimes it will stay around 60 FPS for a little while but it usually flip-flops between 45 and 51 FPS....with ICS it is usually rock stable at 62 or 72 FPS...depending on ROM/Kernel...I am not sure it really affects performance very much. The big issues with AOKP are no video recording and spotty bluetooth.
