Older FT releases (0.6.7 linux) works in ubuntu 12.04
Just to share some info about flashtool on ubuntu 12.04, older version 0.6.7 linux edition is able to flash my X10 without any errors. Haven't tried 0.6.8 and 0.6.9.1 yet. For sure 0.7.1.0 does not work at all after trying numerous workarounds.
Guys I'm really a noob, so please help me with this...
I was suppose to flash a stock ROM to my friend's X10, but I forgot to disconnect my Xperia PLAY (because I was managing my SD card's contents) and flashtool recognized it automatically.
Here's the log:

What do the lines in bold mean? I mean, I wasn't suppose to do anything to my Xperia PLAY using flashtool, I just forgot to disconnect it and I am really worried what those lines above mean. Is that just a routine check done by FlashTool or did it already add some files to my Xperia PLAY's system without me knowing it?
PLease help me, any help would be much appreciated!
As previously, the flash doesn't proceed when I plug the X10 back in flashmode, and I get a abort error.
I tried to plug the X10 in flashmode before flashing. Flashtool correctly detect the device connected in flashmode. When I hit the flash button and select the .tft file to flash, flashtool crashed and I got this log from java :

This is just an assumption as I'm just a front end user and not big hat, but I have the feeling that the issue is related to the java instal on my setup. Could be a permission setting issue or anything like this. I am using a normal user acount for general purpose , no admin account, so may be flashtool require some more.
Could anybody give me any suggestion or a link to understand the usage of "ulimit -c unlimited" command line suggested by the log (I don't type down command line without at least an idea of what I am doing).
NOTE : I had to trim the log for it was to long for the board, so if some info is missing, I can provide the full log for developers.
