Got my hands on a brand new 3D with hboot 1.40 today!

The volume-up switch broke on my EVO 3D (the one I bought last June 27th, I believe it was), so Sprint ordered me a refurbished replacement phone. I picked it up today and when I got it home it wouldn't charge, so I brought it back to the store and they swapped it for a brand new one that had never been updated, so it still has Android 2.3.3 and hboot 1.40 on it!

The refurbished one (the one that wouldn't charge) had been upgraded to 1.50 so I had pretty much resigned myself to doing the Unix brick downgrade trick on that one, but now I'm so happy I could just ish!

Okay, I'm through squealing like a little girl now..

I wish that I had been as lucky as you when I got mine, but such is life...

I guess that saves a couple hours of work...
