that is strange because when i click the link it downloads an .ftf file

the kernel is a zip file with kernel.sin and loader.sin i do not know how you download it as a zip...However rename it to ftf and flash it.

Default zip tft??

thanks,but i downloaded from my sgs2 twice and i got that, then i downloaded from my computer and it downloaded the tft, weird, huh??

this is a browser issue ,
on pc, opera downloads as a zip (that I need to rename as ftf) but chrome downloads it as a ftf ...
but it doesn't matter, technically, the ftf file is a zip with a non common extension : ftf that stands for FlashToolFile I suppose ...
So renaming does the trick
