Wifi issue

after a very long time use of this ROM all of a sudden I can't connect any more to any wifi ap, when I look in the registry under Hkey_Local_Machine\software\drivers\wlan\macaddr\ under value data I've got Unsupported type: Unknown (3) as mac address

Anyone has a solution for this problem? I would hate to flash the phone again...

check what it says in Settings...About for the mac address. Only way to solve is try putting in a valid mac address. weird how/why your mac address got wiped out.

as the mac address changes with each reboot of wp7, try this address...then soft reboot and see
if you get a new address. 00-18-41-B8-10-57

remember it's type binary in the registry. if this doesn't work...hard reset or reflash.

Which method did you used? I have the same problem, and the unlocker says SD is unlocked, but I don't find how to fix that

thanks for the reply, seems to work at work, altough after a reboot it still says unsupported type: Unknown (3)
Only Cisco gear at work, maybe that's why it's working over here, will try at home tonight
