First of all, thanks for this great kernels.

Besides this, I am using it since V3, now on V4, and did not yet faced this issue. For oc I am using default (no manual changes). ROM I am using KA5.2
But a bit hesitate to flash V4a until the root cause is found.

Maybe it's not a Kernel issue

It is the kernel issue. I haven't had this issue on stock 73.
I've got it on 03, 03a and now on 04a too.
I didn't remember was it on 01 or not...

Waiting for the issue solved Doom ;)
And of course huge thanks for a great work and incredible recovery!

I look to test tonight and report issue later. If i have some issue lol.
But the install of v4 kernel is not the same as v3. Doom make a install with reset boot and over evolution.
I think we don't have difference with fastboot install!!

Same problem here (black screen, not waking up). Got this problem since Kernel v03a and higher. Before I never had this problem.

those who are having this "Dead sleep" issue (blank screen, not waking up) kindly test out all major kernel versions (v01, v02, v03, v04) and tell me with which kernels have u noticed this issue...

On v1 and test versions I didn't have this issue.
V2,V3 I cannot test(bootloop).
So just on V4 the issue appear.

I posted previously on this. Seems to have been the worst on 3 and up.
I don't recall it occurring on 2.
Also happened with the test Kernels.

Oddly enough, hasn't happened in the past 3 days on 4a...
