[Q] Delay with multipicture wallpaper app

I just got the sprint nexus and been trying to customize it. I like the multipicture wallpaper app on my tablet so I thought it would be neat to have it with my phone also. Problem with it though is that there is this 1-2 second delay every time I change the page within the home.

Currently I am running vanilla with no mods and such.

The question is, is this normal or is it something I need to call sprint about for replacement or repair?

The nexus has a bug with live wallpapers. They all lag for some reason.
