Interesting issue- All was running great- Did the full wipe deal- Great battery life, No crashes, no forced closes or anything. But today was going to copy over some new apk's. Rebooted into CWM for Mass Storage mode. Copied files to external SD without issue. Unmounted USB, restarted system. Now stuck in a boot loop. I'll be re-installing in say, 60 min, but are there any log files that might help if in time (Or, after I do an install & do a backup right away- stupid me) or if it does this again...

using cwm for copying files to sd card shouldn't cause any bootloops. The sd card isn't even mounted until you get fully loaded up in the GUI.

Have you tried going back into cwm? mounting /system and /data and then using adb on your computer to open a shell and run "dmesg" and check if it says it's mounting any of those filesystems in readonly mode due to errors ....

Yes, getting back into CWM isn't a problem. I am able to mount /system, but CWM locks up trying to mount /data.

I grabbed the dmesg- One line that is interesting is-

<3>[ 42.303716] EXT3-fs: mmcblk0p1: couldn't mount because of unsupported optional features (40).

I can post here, or send to you if you wish.

I did a "dirty re-install" for ****s n giggles to see if it would help. It didn't. Then, formatted /data & voila! It booted successfully.

I did a full wipe reinstall again as I'm betting that would have been real dirty somewhere, but things are reloading now...

DONATE TO ME
My 4g is sparatic at best. Whenever I go to load Facebook or any other app that uses data my phone will drop down to edge (2g) and will stay that way for a while before going back to 4g. And this happens even when i don't move or anything so the signal shouldn't change like that.

Thanx a lot CSM. Now can you address the SD card issue I'm having? Apps like gallery, music, MX player didn't read my SD card content sometimes but everything shows up in file manager. After I mount/unmount it couple of times then it'll read. Even when the apps started to read the SD card, it takes very long time to completely load the content.

emmc I can save now, but I am not exactly sure on what to change it. Right now it, it is

dev_mount emmc /mnt/emmc 8 /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.2/mmc_host/mmc1
dev_mount sdcard /mnt/scard auto /devices/platform/tegra-sdhci.3/mmc_host/mmc2

What should it look like if i want internal storage as main? rlly got no idea as ive try'd editing some things and it doesnt work so not sure if im doing it right

Either you have a cheap sd card to start with, or you probably just need to back up the files you need, format it and then put those files back on. Different ROMS use a lot of cache in certain places on the sd card, and it builds up and can make read time a pain. Of course if you switch to CM7 or CM9/AOKP there was a sd card readahead tweak that should help that.

So far two random reboots. Everything else seems fine. Best data connectivity I've seen in a while.
