ummm. the list of apk's the debloat tries to pull is obviously no where near a complete sense debloat for the vivid. Don't know if you all know that or not, or if it's an error or what. Does anyone happen to have a complete file removal list for de-sensing this phone?

Check this thread for a De-Sensing tool. It is Windows BAT file driven so you could most likely look through the BAT file and find any pertinent filenames if you wish to do the job manually.

I have followed all the steps and I have CWM and unlocked BL but I can't obtain root for some odd reason. I have tried perm root and it boots my phone to CWM and when I push any key to continue is says device not found. I have also gone to the developer menu and pushed to install su and superuser and still no luck. What am I doing wrong not to get root?

Also, when I try to run the Remove CIQ it reboots me to CWM and then when i push any key to continue it just says device not found?

I'm new to the Vivid as I am coming from a Samsung infuse. I have experience rooting but the vivid seems a tad more complicated. I've been going through this thread and I'm not sure if this tool actually works to root the vivid on stock att ics. Will this work and if not can someone either post or pm me with the proper procedure to root and flash a custom Rom with s-on

i have a nice brick. as soon as flashed a recovery, all hell broke loose. it's like there is no operating system on it now.

You go all the way to flashing a recovery, then flash SU manually.

yes. that's not a problem at all. and recovery. it seemed to be working fine. but it won't find the operating system. and when i try to run an ruu, it give me an access error.

If you can get into bootloader and recovery, then you have nothing to worry about. It's called a soft brick and it can be fixed. Boot into recovery, mount the storage, add a ROM you want, flash the ROM.

Do you wanna return to stock?
