Default Beats Audio

Hey just wanted to share that there's a way to put Beats Audio on our Exhibits.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1525226

Use the Samsung download for the SGSII.

You will have to use root explorer and manually install/move/overwrite files but I think the sound is greatly improved and worth the effort! Make sure you move files into the proper locations and remember to set r/w permissions and reboot when done!

Note that there will not be any indication (boot animation, etc.) that you have Beats Audio. Stock music player is 100% functional with this. My opinion is the sound is fuller and bass is improved- and does not overpower treble like it did before.

Props to RockoDev for all the work.

Any news on getting a recovery on this phone?

ok, sorry for sounding like a complete n00b, i swear i'm not THAT new. so basically what you're saying is instead of rebooting to stock recovery and pushing the .zip file through i just use esexplorer to overwrite the files manually on my phone?

Yeah unzip it and copy the files to the matching locations on your phone (system/bin, etc, etc/audio, & lib in the system folder) and overwrite any existing files with the same names - there's like 4 or 5 IIRC - manually using es file explorer or root explorer.
Extra info for those who may need it: Don't worry about the META-INF folder that's for updating and copying the files into the proper folders using scripts through recovery. You do need root for this and don't forget to set r/w permissions before pasting files - It always aggravates me when I forget lol

Other things I've noticed after putting beats on:
speaker volume increased across the board on everything (a definite good thing)
notifications, ringtones, and other sounds sound clearer through the phone speaker (and louder)

so yeah, worth the 5 mins for sure

Default Exhibit 4g

Seeing as we probably wont ever get a rom can you guys name other preformance enhancing apps or tricks? maybe some less obvious ones

for example, the Beats audio for audio preformance and set cpu for speed.
the later being pretty obvious
maybe we can compile a app pack of some sort its better then nothing,
possibly for theys catigorys

Cpu/Ram Audio/Video 4g/Wifi

Ps: im going to try and find safe to remove bloatware because im unable to find a list anywhere.
any little bit of boost can help and I figure it would help everyone

When i deleted my Bloat, i deleted all T Mobile apps....i then used the list in the link to remove the rest of the Bloat.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1433350

I also added build.prop tweaks and overclocked with tegrak paid app....phone is lighter and running smooth.
