Default CM7 Q&A Thread!

Since we didn't have a Q&A thread for CM7 here it is. We've been getting more users asking questions on the development thread, so hopefully they'll notice this and ask their questions here:

BEFORE YOU ASK
Read the instructions
Installing_CyanogenMod_7

Here's the development thread where you can get all your downloads

yes, I have heat, but not that really hot, just a little warm when work with it more than 10 mins continuously like gaming, facebook or sth...so, it's not a big deal but battery I think I can deal with things in 24+ hours so, it's great ^^ (stock 1650 mAh fyi)...anw, has someone tried tweaks like A.S 15 beta or Supercharge or Lagfree 2.1 on CM7 yet? I applied those but don't know if they're working or not since there's nothing remarkable

Haha, after I've flashed so many roms and many times, seem like my phone now have 000...00 imei for permanent lol (forgot to backup things ^^) so, be careful men

Edit: after flashing CM7 again by FB CWM method (via CWM), the IMEI is back @@...my phone was really got me =]]

DO NOT use those tweaks on CM7. They are not made to work with CM7 and may cause issues.
Samsung Galaxy S 4G: - I develop with/for this so most of the below information is probably outdated.
ROM: CyanogenMod 9 Aries (Private Test Builds) / Recovery: CWM 6.1.0.2 / Kernel: cyanogenmod-ICS (aries)
Google Nexus 7:
ROM: Paranoid Android 3.00 / Recovery: TWRP 2.4.x / Kernel: FranciscoFranco's franco.Kernel r48

Me Stuff: Github | Buy Me Coffee | SandwichRoulette | Website | OpenSkedge
Current TA Projects: CM7 | CM9 | AOKP | Acidify (Python rewrite being developed currently (version 1.0))

Yes, flash a one click that comes with a custom kernel built in, and make sure that if you made the backup in RED cwm you restore from RED cwm
