[Q] 5 icons per column without new home screen replacement i.e Go launcher

With such a big screen why doesn't Samsung give us the option to have 5 icons per column as well as the option to have 4.

I love Go launcher on my atrix but might be getting the SGS3, does anyone know if there would be away to get 5 icons per column without installing another launcher.???

There has been added functionality including this added to it with previous versions and I'm hopeful this will be the case here. To be honest if touchwiz had the scrolling dock it would probably be my main launcher.
